This septic system installation was the archetypal project for Element Plumbing & Gas. We started off in a 10 tonne excavator to expose the existing septic system that was in urgent need of renewal. Some Kangaroos ventured on-site to oversee the quality of our work. We then commenced construction of the septic system by lowering the tanks in and building a series of lined trenches to accommodate all leach drains and piping. Health department approved drainage channels were then installed in an appropriate location, then covered with a biomat and gravel to promote absorption from pipes and prevent any pathogens, toxins and other pollutants from escaping the system.
